Ms. renarda booker

Ms. Renarda Angenine Booker, a high school student in Howard County Public Schools, is the inaugural President of Society for Women in Marine Science of Black Girls Dive Foundation. Her diverse interests include swimming, theatre, dance, and writing.  She is the coauthor of the children's picture book "Why Our Teacher Wears Yellow" with her younger sister and dad. Her penchant for art is the logo drawing for Booked Up Reading Publishers, and the promotional artwork design for the play “Once On This Island Jr.,” along with other self-masterpieces. 

Renarda is an animal lover of many sorts  and currently shadows at Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital with Dr. Meegan Weiler. In addition to enjoying two pet aquatic turtles, she learned horse care and handling upon completing the Youth Legacy Program at the Days End Farm Horse Rescue in Woodbine, Maryland
